CHP Doctoral Student Andrea Fidler was elected to the American Psychological Association’s Society of Pediatric Psychology (APA Division 54) Student Advisory Board.
The Student Advisory Board (SAB) is a group of 10 students who are chosen to represent the student membership within Div. 54 (Society of Pediatric Psychology). This board works to promote student interests in division programming, structure, and training, and to encourage other students to get involved. The membership committee oversees student membership, coordinates with other SPP committees to enhance membership, and recruits new student members. Some of the tasks the membership committee has recently worked on include collaborating with the International Committee and the Network of Campus Representatives to increase recruitment of students as well as updating the list of graduate programs and internships that offer training in pediatric psychology.
