Laura Zahodne, a doctoral student in the department of clinical and health psychology, received the Walter G. McMillen Memorial award for Parkinson’s Disease Research from the American Psychological Association’s Division of Adult Development and Aging. It is the second time in three years that a UF clinical and health psychology graduate student has been selected for the award. Dr. Eileen Fennell, professor emeritus, received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the International Neuropsychological Society Meeting in Boston last week. She has had a long and distinguished career in pediatric neuropsychology research and patient care and has mentored more than 30 graduate students.
