About Abigail B Waters

Dr. Abigail Waters is a Neuropsychology Fellow with a dual appointment in the University of Florida Department of Clinical & Health Psychology and the Brain Rehabilitation Research Center at the North Florida/South Georgia VAMC. Dr. Waters earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PhD) from Suffolk University and completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Missouri Health Sciences Consortium Department of Health Psychology, with a specialization in clinical neuropsychology. Her dissertation examined the structural integrity within interoceptive coding networks in the brain as a predictor of functional recovery in mild traumatic brain injury, in collaboration with the Neurorehabilitation Lab at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital. Clinically, Dr. Waters conducts comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for adults who have been diagnosed with a wide variety of medical/neurological, genetic, neurodevelopmental, and neurodegenerative conditions.
