About Stephanie R McDonough
Dr. McDonough is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology in the College of Public Health and Health Professions. She received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in 2018 from the University of Louisville. Her research has primarily focused on health behavior change in the setting of chronic illness, such as type 2 diabetes, as well as biopsychosocial factors in the management and prevention of obesity. Dr. McDonough completed a health psychology internship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2018, where she gained specialized clinical training in health psychology, with a specific emphasis on Psycho-Oncology and Consultation-Liaison Psychology. Dr. McDonough completed her postdoctoral fellowship in health psychology at the University of Florida Health Science Center in 2019, where she gained further specialized training in Psycho-Oncology and Transplant Psychology.
