Research Focus

Brittany’s research experiences involve understanding brain-behavior intersections in areas of mobility, cognition, and personality. These interests are reflected in her studies of neuropsychology and motor functioning in the context of autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and research on how personality affects motor and cognitive performance in healthy older adults. Brittany’s dissertation is investigating the associations between high neuroticism/low extraversion personality types and cognitive and motor decrements during dual-tasking in healthy older adults.
