Jennifer Warnick, M.S.
Jennifer Warnick is a graduate student at the University of Florida in the Clinical and Health Psychology Doctoral Program, with a focus in pediatric psychology. Prior to joining UF, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Northwestern University. She gained research experiences at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago working on a project improving the wellness of children with cerebral palsy, at Northwestern University’s Department of Psychology working on narrative identity studies, and at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine Department of Preventive Medicine working on obesity prevention mHealth interventions. She also volunteered at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago in both the inpatient and outpatient psychology units, as well as with child life specialists. As a UF graduate student, Jennifer is mentored by Dr. David Janicke’s and works in his Pediatric Psychology Lab, where she studies pediatric obesity prevention strategies and interventions.
Jennifer’s research interests include the following: family health behaviors, eating behaviors, mHealth, pediatric adherence behaviors, and type 1 diabetes.
