Erin Trifilio, M.S.
Erin Trifilio is a graduate student in the Clinical and Health Psychology program. She graduated from Emory University in the spring of 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. During her undergraduate studies, she worked as a research assistant in a biological anthropology lab using neuroimaging techniques to investigate emotional correlates of paternal nurturance. After graduating, she joined Dr. Dawn Bowers’ lab as a graduate student at the University of Florida. She is in her second year of graduate studies in the Neuropsychology track.
Erin is currently involved in research related to emotional and cognitive changes in healthy aging as well as studies utilizing event-related potential techniques to investigate cognitive and emotional aspects of Parkinson’s disease. She is also interested in the use of mindfulness-based interventions in various populations.
