Championship Team- Team AARP
These “veterans” fueled by their naps and vitamins, turned back those eager and talented First Years in a thrilling 16-14 game. The team was led by Hannah’s baserunning 😊 an well as epic defensive plays by Brian, Alex and Catherine. Lauren was a blur on the bases. Shimei arrived just in time for this photo. Abby is going to parlay the win into an NIL deal for Gatorade.
Second Place Team
This gritty First Year team jumped out to a 5-0 first inning lead. Armaan “the Thunderfoot” was an offensive force as was Dr. Asken. Hannah and Abby turned in some defensive gems to keep it close. Olivia and Shannon got the most out of their kicks, while also leading the trash talking. This team kept the rallies going and had their own walk-up music, thanks to the Spice Girls. They will be a team to watch in future years!
Cheers to Dr. Janicke for being the designated catcher/umpire. This marks the first kickball game that he did NOT sustain an injury. We applaud his progress!
Dr. Asken will take the mantle as the director of the CHP QOL committee. He is looking for committee members to join him. ESPN cameras did catch Dr. Levy’s daughter-Alessandra, running wind sprints after the game. Look out for her in games around 2034. Dr. Rawlinson’s son, Luca, just watched from his stroller, still waiting for an NIL deal to get him motivated for future games. Thanks to all of 30 or so people who came out, including the fans!
