We are pleased to announce that Dr. Allison Holgerson has agreed to serve as our new Director of Clinical Training. Allison has been with the Department since 2018 and is Board Certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology in Clinical Health Psychology. Her primary clinical practice has been collaborating with the bariatric surgery team conducting evaluations and pre-surgery and post-surgery preparation and therapy. She has supervised doctoral, intern, and post-doctoral trainees in her clinical practice. Allison has served as the director of the health area post-doctoral program. She has worked with the HEARD task force and has been a great advocate for our trainees. We know Allison will continue to bring the same energy, determination, savvy and dedication to serving our students in her role as DCT as she has displayed throughout her time in our department.
