Congratulations to Manuela (Manny) Sinisterra, B.A., whose application for a 2022 Student Traineeship Award of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation was selected for funding. Her application titled: Understanding Caregiver Illness Burden in Management of Cystic Fibrosis in Young and School-Age Children: A Mixed Methods Study aims to use a mixed-methods approach to identify correlates of illness burden in caregivers of youth with cystic fibrosis.
Manny is a graduate student in The Pediatric Behavioral Health Lab directed by David Fedele, Ph.D. It is housed in the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology at the University of Florida College of Public Health and Health Professions. Graduate students in the lab work toward doctorate degrees that lead to careers as pediatric psychologists and researchers.
