Dr. Kathryn Ross, Ph.D., M.P.H., has been selected to receive the University of Florida Excellence Award for Assistant Professors. Dr. Ross was nominated for the award by the College of Public Health and Health Professions. Based on the strength of her research and letters of support from the College and Department, the selection committee noted that Dr. Ross emerged as being uniquely worthy of this award.
The Excellence Award for Assistant Professors or Assistant Curators is a one-time allocation of $5,000 in support of research. The award can be used to fund travel, equipment, books, graduate student stipends, and other research-related expenses.
