Thomas A. Pearson, M.D., Ph.D., M.P.H., is the director of the Translational Workforce Development Program of the UF CTSA as well as director of the University of Florida College of Medicine MD-PhD program. The CTSA has developed a number of resources to support fellowship applications for doctoral and postdoctoral trainees. In this “F-Force” workshop, learning objectives are to: 1) Describe the challenges and opportunities for fellowship grant applications at UFHSC, 2) Review the required components for F30, F31, and F32 applications to NIH, and 3) Identify resources to assist fellowship applicants and their mentors to prepare and submit successful F award applications.
