Fedele wins early career award

CHP faculty member David Fedele receives the Routh Early Career Award in Pediatric Psychology.

The Routh Early Career Award recognizes significant contributions of an early career member of the Society of Pediatric Psychology (SPP; Division 54 of the American Psychological Association) to the field of pediatric psychology in research, clinical training and service.   Dr. Fedele was recognized at the Society of Pediatric Psychology Annual Conference in March.

In the letter announcing his award, the Chair of the SPP Awards Committee wrote: “It is a pleasure to inform you that you have been selected to receive the Routh Early Career Award in Pediatric Psychology. This is a true honor, and a tribute to your career accomplishment. Congratulations on your exceptional work, cutting edge research, and the meaningful and lasting impact you have had on so many pediatric psychologists! Your nominating committee, all award winners in their own right, reflect so positively on your career to date and are a tribute to the mentoring process!”
