The Five Points of Life Foundation, a support affiliate of LifeSouth Community Blood Centers, held its annual race weekend this past weekend in Gainesville. Several Clinical and Health Psychology interns participated in the Marathon Relay and ran together for a total of 26.2 miles. As a team, they completed the marathon in 4 hours and 10 minutes. It was a great way to help raise awareness of the importance of saving lives by donating blood, organs, and other tissues.
