New Health Research Study Measures Effect of Mental Health on the Body

CHP faculty member Peter J. Lang, Ph.D. receives new NIHM grant. research

A new study, “Fear, Anxiety, and Depression: Measuring brain and body in mental disorders”, is supported by a new initiative of the National Institute of Mental Health that aims to increase research on the physical changes in brain and body that accompany mental distress. The Principal Investigator is Peter J. Lang, Ph.D., a graduate research professor in the department of Clinical and Health Psychology at the University of Florida, and director of the Center for the Study of Emotion and Attention and its affiliated Fear and Anxiety Disorders Clinic.
