Our colleague Dr. Ronald H. Rozensky, Ph.D, ABPP has added to his long list of achievements with two more recent accomplishments. We congratulate him and thank him for the attention he brings to psychology as a discipline, and the importance of psychology training, both locally and internationally.
First, Dr. Rozensky was just elected by his peers to serve as American Psychological Association (APA) Division 38 (Health Psychology) Council Representative for 2016 to 2018. The Council is the chief decision making body for APA, which is the pre-eminent professional association and credentialing body in psychology.
Second, Dr. Rozensky has been appointed to the APA Board of Education Affairs “Task Force on the Integration of Science and Practice in Health Service Psychology Training”. This an APA task force charged with planning the implementation of the recommendations from the recent Blueprint for Health Service Psychology.
