Dr. Whitehead Selected as CTSK Scholar and Elected to the CTSI Academy of Research Excellence

The CTS K Scholar Multidisciplinary Program is a highly competitive research training and funding opportunity for junior faculty at UF to foster a career in clinical/ translational research. Didactic coursework, mentored research and multidisciplinary teamwork are offered to develop the skills necessary to build a well-funded collaborative research career. CTS K Scholars are expected to conduct an independent research project that is clinical or translational in nature and designed to be completed well within the two years of program participation

The CTSI Academy of Research Excellence, offers the opportunity to develop excellence in Human Subject Research and Protections.  It is an advanced, practically-oriented program to develop excellence in human-subject research focusing on regulatory requirements, informed consent training, practical aspects of running a research enterprise, and research integrity and professionalism.
