Housing
Students must make personal arrangements for housing by applying to the Division of Housing for assignment to University housing facilities or by obtaining accommodations in off-campus housing.
Off-Campus Housing
Housing is quite abundant. Apartments, condominiums, rental houses, or houses for purchase are all readily available, many close to campus. An unfurnished one-bedroom apartment rents for about $500/month, not including utilities. The Off-Campus Housing Office is a listing and referral agency for rental housing of all types. This office does not make rental reservations, but does provide information to students, faculty and staff.
On-Campus Housing
Space in on-campus housing is limited, thus students are encouraged to submit their applications early. An application for on-campus housing may be filed at any time. Apartment accommodations available for graduate students with families include Corry Village, Diamond Village, Tanglewood Apartments, University Village South, and Maguire Village. There is up to a 1 to 1 1/2 year waiting list for the fall semester and six to twelve month for other semesters. Apartment accommodations for single graduate students are available in the Apartment Residence Facility. In addition, graduate students are eligible for placement in residence halls on campus; however, priority for these spaces is given to beginning freshman.
