Lacie Lazaroe, M.S.

Biography

Lacie Lazaroe is a graduate student at the University of Florida in the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology.  Prior to graduate school, Lacie graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology in 2014.  She is currently in the Clinical Child/Pediatric Psychology track, where she is under the mentorship of Dr. Joseph McNamara. In her spare time, Lacie enjoys reading, watching television and films, and playing with her dog, Wednesday.

Research and Clinical Focus

Lacie’s primary research interests include the utilization of cognitive behavioral therapy with exposure response prevention techniques in treating obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and anxiety disorders. Lacie is also heavily involved in undergraduate mentorship, and is currently working with and coordinating a team of 20 undergraduates. Additionally, Lacie is involved in facilitating, running, and serving as a therapist for the Fear Facers Day Camp, a week-long summer camp for children and teens with OCD and/or anxiety.
