Eliza Gordon, M.S.

GordonBiography

Eliza Gordon (formerly Warren) graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University in 2014 with a B.S. in Exercise & Wellness. She is pursuing her Ph.D. in Clinical & Health Psychology (concentration: Med/Health) as well as her join-Master’s in Public Health degree (concentration: Social and Behavioral Sciences).

Research/Clinical Focus

Eliza is working as a Graduate Research Assistant studying obesity treatment under the mentorship of Dr. Michael Perri.  In 2016 she wrote her Clinical & Health Psychology master’s thesis on the effects of dose of behavioral weight-loss treatment on changes in physical activity among adults with obesity living in rural areas.  Eliza’s primary research interests include weight management, food addiction, physical activity, and mind/body health and fitness.  She is also a certified personal trainer, and loves of family, fitness, nutrition, yoga, art, nature, and music.
