Callie Dunn, M.S., is a fourth-year graduate student in CHP. Her research and training is primarily focused in the area and of neuropsychology and is training under the mentorship of Dr. Russell Bauer. The APA Dissertation Research Award, sponsored by the Science Directorate of the American Psychological Association, is an annual competition for dissertation research funding. The purpose of this award is to assist science-oriented doctoral students of psychology with research costs. Callie received this award for her dissertation entitled “Human Search Strategies in the Computer-generated Arena, a Virtual Morris Water Maze: Association with Performance and Structural Neuroimaging in Aging, Mild Cognitive Impairment, and Alzheimer’s Disease.” Callie has demonstrated excellent scholarship during her time at UF, and the research proposed for this award exemplifies Callie’s scholarship.
