Assessment Services
Psychological assessment services are offered for all individuals, infancy through adulthood. Assessment procedures may include clinical interviews and standardized psychological testing (over 450 psychological tests are available). Written reports and recommendations are provided.
Some general areas of assessment are:
- Psychological evaluations of emotional, behavioral, personality disorders
- Developmental evaluations
- Intellectual, cognitive, and academic evaluations
- Neuropsychological evaluations
- Forensic evaluations
- Custody evaluations
Common reasons for evaluations:
- Anxiety and depression
- Changes in cognitive function following brain injury or disease
- Conduct problems and hyperactivity
- Learning, attentional, or developmental problems
- Adjustment problems following medical illness, separation, divorce, or other losses
- Compliance with medical regimens — management of chronic illness
