The University of Florida Department of Clinical and Health Psychology offers two APA approved education and training programs: a doctoral program in clinical psychology and a clinical psychology pre-doctoral internship. In addition, the department provides a variety of continuing education experiences and post-doctoral training opportunities

Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology

The Ph.D. program in clinical psychology is designed to enable students to master broad areas of knowledge and skills in psychology and clinical psychology, and to educate and train individuals who will contribute to such knowledge through research.

Internship Program in Clinical Psychology

The Internship Program combines intensive focused training together with general training in the practice of clinical psychology in a health care setting. Focused training occurs in one of three major areas of study: Clinical Child/Pediatric Psychology Medical/health Psychology Clinical Neuropsychology.

Postdoctoral Training Program

The postdoctoral training is offered to applicants who have completed a doctoral degree in clinical, school, or counseling psychology from a program accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA) or the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA), as well as an APA or CPA accredited internship in clinical psychology.
