Dean’s Citation Paper Award winners in CHP

Breton Asken and Dr. Russell Bauer (senior author) were selected as the Dean’s Citation Paper Award winners in the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology for their publication entitled ” ‘Playing Through It’: Delayed Reporting and Removal from Athletic Activity After Concussion Predicts Prolonged Recovery.” This award is given by the College of Public Health and Health Professions to acknowledge innovation and excellence in research.

The publication appears in the April, 2016, edition of the Journal of Athletic Training.  This manuscript was also previously awarded the journal’s Clint Thompson Award for Clinical Practice Advancement.  Other contributing authors included Dr. James Clugston (University Athletic Association, Community Health and Family Medicine), Aliyah Snyder, Zachary Houck, and Dr. Michael McCrea (Medical College of Wisconsin).
