Congratulations to Dr. Miles Rogish

Former CHP doctoral student Miles Rogish received the 2015 “Clinician of the Year” from the United Kingdom Acquired Brain Injury Forum. He received the award at their November 11, 2015 at their annual conference. Rogish has worked for the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust (BIRT) in the UK since 2003, working at the two BIRT hospitals in Yorkshire (York House and Goole Neuro Rehabilitation Centre). After UF, he also worked for the University of Hull as a Clinical Tutor in the Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychological Therapies. His research interests include traumatic brain injury, neurobehavioural rehabilitation, and the impact of neurological disability on family systems functioning.

The United Kingdom Acquired Brain Injury Forum (UKABIF) aims to promote better understanding of all aspects of ABI; to educate, inform and provide networking opportunities for professionals, service providers, planners and policy makers and to campaign for better services in the UK. http://ukabif.org.uk/.

During his graduate studies at University of Florida, Dr. Rogish’s faculty mentor was Dr. Dawn Bowers.
