CHP Advanced graduate student, Adam Reid, MS, receives award for Distinguished Graduate Student in Professional Psychology
Adam Reid, MS, an advanced graduate student in Clinical and Health Psychology is the Board of Professional Affairs recipient of the 2015 APA/APAGS Award for Distinguished Graduate Student in Professional Psychology. It is an award for community service integrating the highest standards professional psychological clinical practice and science. His committed vision for underserved in the University of Florida’s Free Therapy Clinic enabled graduate students from clinical, counseling, and school psychology to provide quality services to over 200 individuals with psychopathology. Systematic data collection and analyses will enable dissemination of findings on the clinical model through publication. In addition to receiving his PhD in Clinical and Health Psychology upon completion of his psychology internship, Mr. Reid will be awarded an MS in Epidemiology with psychiatric emphases.
