Christy Karabetian, M.S., recognized as Outstanding International Student

Congratulations to Christy Karabetian, M.S., a third year graduate student in the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology, for being selected as an Outstanding International Student in the College of Public Health and Health Professions!  Christy is Canadian and grew up in Montreal, Quebec.  This honor recognizes Christy’s academic achievement, contributions to the department, and involvement in the Gaiensville community.

Christy is working on various research projects related to obesity and aging with Dr. Stephen Anton and Dr. Ronald Cohen in the Department of Aging and Geriatric Research.

Christy received this award at the university-wide ceremony for all Outstanding International Students on November 21, 2013.
